The promoters reserve the right to alter advertised times and programmes.
Tickets are available from choir members, at the door, or in advance either from the SLS Box Office (020 8656 2815) or from TC’s coffee shop at Beckenham Methodist Church, Monday – Friday 10.30am – 2.30pm.

Alexander's Feast
Handel's original 1736 setting of a St Cecilia ode by John Dryden, penned in
1697. It portrays a banquet celebrating Alexander the Great's conquest of
Persia and the 'Power of Musick' (the ode's subtitle)
to excite a whole gamut of emotions in a postwar context.

Venues
Beckenham Methodist Church is on Bromley Road at the corner of Bevington Road, not far from Beckenham Junction Station, the Tramlink terminal and several bus routes. There is a large public car park nearby in St. George’s Road (free after 7.30 pm).
St Paul's Church, Brackley Road is at the corner of Lawn Road and Brackley Road not far from New Beckenham Station. There is free on-street parking in nearby roads.
Christ Church, Beckenham is in Fairfield Road just off Beckenham High Street next to the public car park (free after 7.30pm) and not far from Beckenham Junction and bus routes.
